ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has a fond appreciation for the BBC television show “Foyle’s War,” a World War II-era detective series.
He also loved a 1977 BBC documentary on legendary Ohio State football coach Woody Hayes, simply titled, “Woody Hayes the Football Coach.”
So he enjoyed talking to reporters from BBC Sport, who have been in Ann Arbor for the last 10 days, working on a project about college football in the United States.
Harbaugh spoke Monday night following his appearance on “Inside Michigan Football,” his weekly radio show on WTKA-AM in Ann Arbor, and discussed his passion for football, for the University of Michigan and for coaching.
“What I love and what I really enjoy about it is the struggle,” Harbaugh said. “And the best part of it is the competition.”
