Less than 24 hours after being fired by LSU, Les Miles said on Monday he’ll be rooting for the Michigan, his alma mater. Is a trip to Ann Arbor, next?
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh seemed open to the idea of having Miles around in some capacity.
When asked Monday if he would ask Miles to be an analyst or honorary captain for the Wolverines, Harbaugh said “those are good suggestions.”

Michigan has had some big-time names as honorary captains this year, from Michael Jordan to Tom Brady. Baseball legend Hank Aaron is scheduled to be an honorary captain for the Oct. 22 game against Illinois.
Miles led LSU to a BCS Championship in 2007. He was 114-34 with the Tigers after he took over before the 2005 season. He was let go Sunday following a 2-2 start to this season.
