ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Jim Harbaugh contends that there was no pick. And he’s not talking about an interception.
During Saturday’s 51-14 win against Central Florida, footage on ESPN showed Harbaugh reaching into his nose and then putting those same fingers into his mouth.
Monday night on his weekly radio show with Jim Brandstatter on WTKA-AM, Harbaugh contended that he made no such action. Not just on Saturday, but ever.
“For the record I have never eaten a booger in my life,” Harbaugh said. “There was no booger eaten.”
Here’s the video footage, courtesy of Bleacher Report:
“It looked like that’s what happened,” Harbaugh insisted. “You rub your nose and bite your fingernail. That’s not eating a booger.”
This sounds strangely like a plot line in a 1992 episode of “Seinfeld.
