Michigan could be getting a big piece of its defense back on Saturday.
All-American CB Jourdan Lewis was on the field warming up in full uniform before Michigan’s Saturday game against Penn State. He’s missed the first three games of the season.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said this week he was ‘hopeful’ Lewis would play on Saturday. The senior has been dealing with various back, hamstring and quad injuries through the first month of the season.
“That nagging thing you’re dealing with, it’s not broken, but it’s just as real,” Harbaugh said Monday at his weekly press conference. “He’s doing a fantastic job. The guy has been a real stud in everything that he’s done, every preparation that he’s made. It’s all been A-plus, plus. I’m very hopeful this is the week he’ll get back out there on the field of play.”
