There were a lot of highlights for Michigan as it sailed to a 79-61 win over Marquette on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.
But none of them got the bench as excited as one dunk in the second half. Wolverines forward Moe Wagner got around a defender with a pump fake on the perimeter, drove to the hoop and then put a Marquette player on a poster with a powerful, one-handed slam.

Wagner, a German-born sophomore, finished with nine points in 17 minutes on Tuesday. The 6-foot-11 forward is averaging 10 points and 4.3 rebounds through Michigan’s first three games.
The Wolverines face SMU tonight back at Madison Square Garden for the 2K Classic Championship.
