Michigan basketball capped its brilliant week in New York with a 75-66 win over Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament title game on Sunday evening. The win gave the Wolverines their second consecutive conference tournament championship.
It also gave them something else no other Big Ten team can claim in the 2017-18 season. With the win over the Boilermakers, Michigan became the only Big Ten team to record a win over every other team in the conference this season.

Michigan recorded at least 1 win over every Big Ten team this season.

Purdue was the only Big Ten team to sweep the Wolverines during the regular season. Michigan picked up its 13 regular season conference wins over 11 different opponents. The team collected wins against Nebraska and the Boilermakers at Madison Square Garden.
So even though Michigan was the fifth seed in the tournament, none of the top four seeds in the conference can claim that they beat every other team at least once.
Nebraska failed to defeat Michigan State, Ohio State or Purdue. Purdue did not beat Michigan State or Ohio State. Ohio State did not beat Penn State in three separate tries.
And Michigan State came up empty twice against its in-state rival from Ann Arbor and also lost its only meeting against Ohio State.
