Michigan basketball arrived in San Antonio for the 2018 NCAA Tournament Final Four Wednesday night to a (almost) champions welcome.
When the Wolverines disembarked from their plane, as they walked into the hangar they were greeted by quite a site.
There was a marching band playing, young kids hanging out lay/necklace type garments, a convertible with the Michigan logo on it and at the end of the walkway, the National Championship Trophy.
The Wolverines captured it all on Periscope, including the team walking down the stairs off the plane, accepting the necklaces and getting on the team bus.
A couple highlights, though, include Jordan Poole speaking on camera really quick and coach John Beilein in a big, colorful scarf.
Here’s what Poole said:
“San Antonio, man. Great welcome. Time to get some ‘dubs.’ Final four bound, baby.”
