Michigan assistant coach Chris Partridge, who helped the Wolverines land the nation’s No. 5 recruiting class, has been named 247Sports Recruiter of the Year.
Partridge is Michigan’s linebackers coach and special teams coordinator and also leads the Wolverines’ recruiting efforts. Per 247Sports, he had a hand in 14 of Michigan’s 30 commitments in the 2017 class.
Aubrey Solomon, a 5-star defensive tackle who committed to the Wolverines on Wednesday, was particularly close with Partidge.
Partridge was first hired to a recruiting position in January 2015 and was promoted to his current positions a year later. Last year, he was named Scout’s Recruiter of the Year.
