Michael Jordan will be Michigan’s honorary captain at 2016 season opener
Michigan’s honorary captain for its 2016 season opener is a pretty popular athlete and only the best basketball player of all-time.
That’s right, Jim Harbaugh has done it again. After hosting plenty of celebrities such as Derek Jeter, Tom Brady and Ric Flair at Michigan’s signing day event, he has now landed Michael Jordan as the team’s honorary captain for Michigan’s opener Sept. 3 against Hawaii, according to Zach Shaw.
Harbaugh seems more connected to celebs than TMZ. Jordan played his college ball at North Carolina, but surely nobody will hold that against him.
Perhaps the inspiration from Air Jordan will help propel Michigan to a tremendous season.
