Top NFL prospects from Michigan and Ohio State will be on the same team entering the draft — well, kind of.
Both Marshon Lattimore and Jabrill Peppers have signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a prestigious sports agency that has had clients ranging from Derek Jeter to George Clooney. Lattimore and Peppers are among seven players who signed with CAA, joined by Clemson’s Mike Williams, Alabama’s O.J. Howard, Stanford’s Solomon Thomas, Western Michigan’s Corey Davis and Temple’s Haason Reddick.
Lattimore, a star cornerback from Ohio State, is projected by many as a top-10 pick. CBS Sports ranks Lattimore as the draft’s top cornerback and No. 10 overall prospect.
Analysts are having a tougher time figuring out where Peppers might land. The do-it-all Wolverines player, who was named the 2016 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, is being listed in the first round of many mock drafts, but there’s no consensus of how high he could go. CBS ranks Peppers as the second-best strong safety in the class and No. 13 overall prospect.
