Lane Kiffin visits Wolverines practice

Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin, along with his father Monte, visited Michigan’s practice at Berkeley Preparatory Academy in Tampa, Fla. The Wolverines finish the 2017 season against South Carolina in the Outback Bowl at noon on Jan. 1.

Florida police break up Michigan-South Carolina skirmish

The Wolverines and Gamecocks had a friendly bowling competition on Wednesday, and it almost ended in a fight. Police had to get in the middle as players from both teams yelled at each other. There was some shoving, but no punches thrown.

Michigan names abound on All-USA Today teams

Wolverines recruiting is well represented in USA Today’s All-USA offensive and defensive teams. Michigan has 23 players who have either signed national letters of intent for 2018 or have announced commitments for 2018 or 2019 and 14 were honored.
