Lane Kiffin and Jim Harbaugh got to spend some time together on Wednesday.
Kiffin, the high-profile Florida Atlantic coach, stopped by Michigan’s bowl practice in Tampa, Fla., on Wednesday as Harbaugh’s team prepares for the Outback Bowl. Kiffin’s FAU team wrapped up an 11-3 season with a blowout win over Akron in the Boca Raton Bowl last week.
Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News had video of Kiffin, who looked ready for the beach, and Harbaugh greeting each other.

It was a family affair for both coaches. Harbaugh had a couple of his sons at the practice and Kiffin was joined by his father, Monte Kiffin, and his son, Knox. Kiffin also stopped by the practice of South Carolina, Michigan’s opponent in the Outback Bowl on Monday.
Harbaugh and Kiffin are two of the most notable coaches in college football. Maybe Harbaugh can have Kiffin on his podcast sometime this offseason to continue the conversation.
