When No. 2 Ohio State lost to Penn State, we knew the national polls would get some major changes.
But it also meant ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit would have some alterations to his personal Top 4, as he had the Buckeyes No. 2 going into this past week’s games.
Sunday morning, Herbstreit officially shared his new Top 4, with Alabama still No. 1 and Michigan up one spot to second.
Ohio State dropped out and was replaced by Pac-12 unbeaten Washington at No. 4. Clemson is third.

That means these four teams from four different Power Five conferences are seen as his favorites for the College Football Playoff. If they all win out, it would be almost impossible to deny a combination of these four.
