Michigan and Penn State were both included when one of the best defensive linemen in the 2018 class revealed his slimmed-down list of top schools on Tuesday. The only bad news for the Wolverines and Nittany Lions is that there are 14 other schools joining them.
Keondre Coburn, a 4-star defensive tackle from Houston, released his list of top 16 schools, and it features many major players in the college football recruiting world. Michigan and Penn State are joined by Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Washington and Oklahoma just to name a few.

Coburn is highly sought after for good reason. He’s ranked as the No. 93 overall prospect and eighth-best defensive tackle in the 2018 class.
While Penn State and Michigan make a push to pull him out of the Lone Star State, it appears some in-state schools likely have the upper hand. Currently all of Coburn’s 247Sports crystal ball predictions have him going to either Texas or Texas A&M.
