Other than the interception, Lewis also had a pass deflection and four tackles in the 14-7 Wolverines win.
The Jim Thorpe Award, presented by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame, is given annually to the best defensive back in college football.
Lewis was one of 39 players named to the Jim Thorpe Award watch list prior to the 2016 season.
