Michigan basketball entered Thursday with a 16-4 overall record and a 4-2 record in Big Ten conference play. The Wolverines are currently ranked No. 23 in the latest AP Poll.
On Thursday night, at Nebraska, the Wolverines lost to the Cornhuskers, 72-52. Nebraska’s James Palmer Jr. led all scorers with 19. Charles Matthews led Michigan in scoring with 15 and was the only Wolverine to score at least 10.
