Tim Brewster, the former Minnesota head coach who’s now an assistant at Florida State, had some fun at the expense of Michigan’s program during the 2017 NFL Draft.
Michigan had the most picks (11) of any college program in the draft, but Brewster still joked about the Wolverines on Twitter, bringing up the Seminoles’ triumph in the 2016 Orange Bowl. He said, “Most draft picks doesn’t correlate to winning… Just ask Michigan! #OrangeBowlChampions!”

Harbaugh, who was in Italy during the draft, responded to Brewster on Wednesday evening.

It’s unclear what prompted Brewster’s initial tweet other than a desire to brag again about the Orange Bowl. The Gophers went 15-30 during Brewster’s tenure as Minnesota’s head coach, 6-21 in Big Ten games and 0-2 in bowl games.
