Jim Harbaugh on Big Ten teleconference: Team, QBs know the starting QB, but it’s not for ‘public consumption’
The QB choice remains a team secret.
One day after telling reporters he decided on a starting QB, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said on a Big Ten teleconference that the QBs and the team know of his choice.
But he’s still not sharing it with the media or the public.
Jim Harbaugh asked again about his QB on the B1G teleconference: "The quarterback knows, the team knows … it's not for public consumption"

- On the number of freshmen seeing playing time, Harbaugh said the list continues to grow — he’s up to 15 or more right now.
- On John O’Korn, currently in the QB battle, Harbaugh said he’s done great and has the confidence of the team despite being a transfer (Houston).
- With Hawaii visiting this weekend, Harbaugh was asked if he would consider ever going there for a return trip. Harbaugh said “yeah, sure” and brought up that he played there before in 1986 while with Michigan. The Wolverines won 27-10.
Harbaugh on challenges of a O'Korn as transfer: John's done great. Always jumping on scout team, getting more reps. Serious competitor.

Michigan begins the season Saturday at noon against Hawaii — at least the QB choice will have to be known then.
