If it were up to Jim Harbaugh, he wouldn’t receive any coach of the year awards.
No college football head coach would.
Instead, it’d be the head of the Michigan defense who would get the honor, defensive coordinator Don Brown.
“In my mind, if there is a coach of the year in college football, in my mind, it’s Don Brown,” Harbaugh said on air on the Jamie and Stoney show on Detroit’s 97.1 The Ticket on Wednesday morning.
The head coach was full of praise for his assistant, who has engineered the No. 1 defense in the nation.
Harbaugh: A tremendous teacher, a tremendous person and the impact he’s had on our team is outstanding.
