Jack Stewart commits to Michigan football: Wolverines land ninth 2019 recruit
Connecticut offensive lineman Jack Stewart became the ninth member of Michigan football’s 2019 recruiting class on Tuesday, as he announced his intentions to play for the Wolverines.

Stewart is the third offensive line recruit in Michigan’s class, joining 4-star players Nolan Rumler and Trente Jones. The 247Sports composite recruiting database grades Stewart as a 3-star prospect, and puts him as the No. 83 offensive tackle and No. 7 Connecticut player in the class. The New Canaan High School recruit has prototypical tackle size at 6-foot-5, 280 pounds.
He’s the second recruit in as many days to commit to Michigan. 4-star CB recruit Te’Cory Couch flipped from Tennessee to Michigan on Sunday. Stewart’s commitment pushes Michigan’s class to No. 1 in the Big Ten and No. 4 in the nation, but like all early recruiting rankings, you should take that information with a huge grain of salt.
