Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers featured on Sports Illustrated regional cover
A dream preseason continues for Jabrill Peppers.
The Michigan star is featured on one of four regional Sports Illustrated covers. He’s already been named the No. 9 player in the country by ESPN, CBS listed him as one of the most impactful players in college football and FOX Sports put him on its athletic “freaks” list.
The cover also lists SI’s playoff prediction, which Michigan makes as the No. 4 seed.

Peppers, a junior, will play all over the place this fall — defensive back, linebacker, nickel back, wide receiver, running back, return man. Coach Jim Harbaugh said Sunday that Peppers could play between 95 and 100 snaps per game.
Peppers had 45 tackles and posted 151 yards from scrimmage in 2015.
Clemson QB DeShaun Watson, Houston QB Greg Ward Jr. and UCLA QB Josh Rosen are featured on the other covers.
Per Sports Illustrated, the Michigan cover will be sent to Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Nebraska and Eastern Missouri.
