With the season’s first full slate of games ready to welcome us into the 2016 season, the preseason prediction game is hitting its final days.
Besides picking Florida State’s Dalvin Cook to becoming the best RB and Tennessee to finally beat Florida, Feldman had this to say: “The Big Ten will have a new champ.”
Feldman is picking Michigan to not only win in Columbus, Ohio, for the first time since 2000, but he says in his bold prediction that Michigan will win the conference.
Going by the first AP Poll of the season, the pick doesn’t sound too bold: Ohio State is No. 6 and Michigan is right behind at No. 7. But the Buckeyes have owned the rivalry recently and are coming off a 42-13 rout at Michigan.
To further his Michigan optimism, Feldman said first-year DB Don Brown (previously at Boston College), will be one of the “hottest coordinators hires.” A potential Broyles Award candidate as the nation’s top assistant, maybe?
