Just more than a month after announcing his intention to transfer from Michigan, former Wolverines receiver Freddy Canteen revealed Saturday he will play next season at Notre Dame.

After arriving at Michigan in 2014 as a 4-star recruit, Canteen caught six passes for 22 yards and a touchdown in his first two seasons with the Wolverines. In 2016, what would have been his junior year, he was no longer on the team, for reasons that were never fully explained.
Canteen will graduate from Michigan in May, making him eligible to play immediately at Notre Dame.
