Former Michigan QB Devin Gardner signed with the Calgary Stampeders, according to CalgarySun.com. After throwing for more than 6,000 yards during his five seasons at Michigan, Gardner went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was signed by the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for training camp but was released by both teams.
Gardner last signed with the Nojima Sagamihara Rise of Japan’s semi-pro X-League. Through three games, he leads the X-League with 1,018 total yards and eight touchdowns.
