Former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson realizes he’s fortunate to be alive after driving his car into a pond on July 3.
Robinson, who is now a running back with the Jacksonville Jaguars, spoke to the media for the first time since the incident occurred. He vehemently denied that drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident and reflected the incident that nearly cost him his life.
“I feel blessed,” Robinson said, according to Sports Illustrated. “It could have been a situation where I couldn’t be talking to y’all right now. The situation could have been way worse than that. I could have hurt somebody or killed somebody. I’m truly blessed that nothing happened to nobody.”
