ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit has changed his top-4 rankings.
During Saturday night’s broadcast, Herbstreit had Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Washington as his top 4. But now Herbstreit has dropped No. 4 Washington for…Michigan.
It’s a little surprising, considering both the Huskies and Wolverines had already put finishing touches on a pair of easy road wins: Washington 70-21 at Oregon and Michigan 78-0 at Rutgers. But Herbstreit may not have gotten a good look at how dominant Michigan played at Rutgers.
Herbstreit prefaced his rankings by saying he watched and got “completely” caught up on the Week 6 games.

Regardless, both Washington and Michigan clearly look like two of the country’s best teams. With plenty more weeks ahead, much could and likely will chance. But as for right now, Michigan is rolling.
