Former Michigan football player Elysee Mbem-Bosse appears to have posted and deleted a series of troubling tweets, including an apparent threat against his former coach, Jim Harbaugh.
Screenshots of the tweets from Mbem-Bosse’s locked Twitter account surfaced on Reddit on Tuesday morning. It’s not a certainty that Mbem-Bosse made the posts himself, but there was a series of tweets referencing Harbaugh.

Later on Tuesday, MLive reported that the University of Michigan Police were looking into the threat against Harbaugh.
Mbem-Bosse also referenced a suspension, but there was never any official word from Michigan on him being suspended last season. Mbem-Bosse is still listed in the Michigan student directory.
Mbem-Bosse was a linebacker with the Wolverines but was no longer listed on the team’s roster this spring. He appeared at both linebacker and on special teams for Michigan in 2017.
Mbem-Bosse is from Ellenwood, Ga. Jimmy Smith, Mbem-Bosse’s coach at Cedar Grove High School, told Land of 10’s Kevin Goheen that he had no comment on the tweets.
