Donovan Peoples-Jones was Michigan’s top-rated signee in the Class of 2017, and he made his first big highlight during the Wolverines’ 29-13 win.
He’s assumed punt-return duties for Jim Harbaugh’s team and scored his first college touchdown on this 79-yard punt return to give Michigan a 16-6 lead. He also had 1 reception for 37 yards, and Michigan now leads 19-13.

“As a punt returner, you’ve got to be relentless and fearless back there, so anything I can do back there to help this team win,” Peoples-Jones said this week. “Every time I get a chance to touch the ball, I want to score. I don’t look at it that way [playing safe]. I just want to make a big play for my team.
“The No. 1 goal is to get the ball for the offense in good field position. The second goal is to score a touchdown. I think I was close on a couple of them.”
