A noon ET kickoff between No. 2 Michigan and Michigan State didn’t stop million of viewers from tuning in to the rivalry match-up.
According to ESPN PR, the Wolverines-Spartans showdown on ESPN drew the second best overnight rating of any college football game Saturday, trailing only the matchup between No. 3 Clemnson and No. 12 Florida State, which aired in primetime on ABC.

Michigan-Michigan State beat out other nationally televised games like Washington-Utah on FS1, Baylor-Texas on ABC, Florida-Georgia on CBS and Nebraska-Wisconsin on ESPN.
Michigan defeated Michigan State 32-23 for the Wolverines first win over the Spartans since 2012.
