Michigan is reportedly making another addition to its coaching staff. Dan Enos, a former Central Michigan head coach and Arkansas offensive coordinator, will be joining Jim Harbaugh’s staff, according to Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated.
Dan Enos reportedly joining Michigan staff

Enos, 49, was most recently the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach on Bret Bielema’s staff at Arkansas, coaching with the Razorbacks from 2015-2017. Enos served as Central Michigan’s head coach for five seasons between 2010 and 2014. He went 26-36 at Central Michigan and appeared in two bowl games, but Enos’ teams never won more than seven games in a season.
Enos is familiar with Michigan and the Big Ten because he was both a player and a coach at Michigan State. Enos was a quarterback on the Spartans’ roster between 1987-1990 and was the team’s starter for his final two seasons. A Dearborn, Mich. native, Enos was an assistant in East Lansing from 2006-2009 before taking the Central Michigan job.
This is the second reported staff addition Harbaugh has made this week. The Wolverines reportedly added Cincinnati defensive line coach Al Washington to their staff Thursday. Michigan has not yet made either hire official, and it’s unclear what roles Enos or Washington will have with the team.
