Clemson defensive star Ben Boulware is having some fun with Desmond Howard.
The Tigers’ linebacker got a new tattoo of the national championship trophy following Clemson’s thrilling win against Alabama earlier this month. As Boulware shared on Twitter on Tuesday, he was thinking about where to put the tattoo when he had an idea.
Boulware remembered ESPN’s Howard, a Heisman Trophy winner at Michigan, called the Clemson linebackers an Achilles heel.
So Boulware found the best spot.

The linebacker led the Tigers with 131 total tackles this season, adding 11.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks as the Tigers won the national title for the first time since 1981.
Boulware isn’t afraid to speak his mind. After teammate Christian Wilkins appeared to grope Ohio State’s Curtis Samuel during the College Football Playoff semifinal, Boulware defended Wilkins.
Boulware said, “We do that stuff just to have fun out there, just to mess with the team.”

In another video, Boulware appeared to grope another Ohio State player, offensive lineman Michael Jordan. In a tweet, Jordan wrote, “I was about to hit him then I stopped myself.”
