Ambry Thomas wants his footwork to get a little bit better before he steps on Michigan’s campus. And he’s soliciting the help of one of the best NFL receivers of the past 15 years.
Thomas, a 4-star cornerback who committed to the Wolverines on Dec. 8, tweeted to former Bengals WR Chad Johnson on Thursday, saying he wanted his feet to be able to move like Johnson’s did at the height of his playing days.
Bruh i need to learn how to get feet like @ochocinco it'll be bad for people if I did ?

Johnson responded less than 15 minutes later, offering to help.
Lets go, I'm ALWAYS willing to work with you on your craft… https://t.co/7Dehuf5lxb

Johnson, who once changed his name to Chad Ochocino, made six Pro Bowls during his 11-year NFL career. He caught 766 pass for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns before exiting the league following the 2011 season.
Johnson had said earlier this year that he would like to try coaching, so maybe his work with Thomas — if it does indeed happen — could be a step on that path.
