4-star DL Donovan Jeter decommitted from Notre Dame last week.
After spending the weekend at Michigan, Jeter didn’t need much time to make a decision. He’s committed to Michigan.
Jeter announced his commitment on Twitter after he watched Michigan beat Illinois yesterday.
“…after my official visit to Michigan, it was a tough decision but I feel like it’s best for ME and my family that I continue my education and football career at the University of Michigan.”

Jeter (Beaver Falls, Pa.) is a 6-foot-5, 250-pound lineman from the 2017 class. Not only is he ranked No. 8 in Pennsylvania, but he’s No. 11 in the country as a strong-side defensive end for 247 Sports.
When he announced he was decommitting last week, Jeter said Notre Dame was still his No. 1 team. But his weekend visit to Ann Arbor, Mich., clearly went very, very well.
He shared a picture he took with Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and captioned it with kind words.
“If I was a soldier I wouldn’t want anyone else leading me in to war but coach harbaugh,” Jeter wrote.
