One of the scariest moments of Michigan’s season came Saturday afternoon when quarterback Brandon Peters went down after taking a big hit against Wisconsin.
Peters stayed on the ground at Camp Randall Stadium for a few minutes and had to be carted off the field and taken to a hospital. After the game, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said Peters was being evaluated for a head injury.
Throughout the afternoon, Michigan fans took to social media to wish Peters well. Those messages were seen by Peters’ father, David, who tweeted out his own thank you to the Wolverines community.
“I want to thank everyone in the UM family for the prayers and concern for BP,” Peters wrote. “Go Blue!”

Peters’ status will be updated Monday when Harbaugh meets with reporters for his weekly press conference. If the redshirt freshman can’t play against Ohio State, John O’Korn will get the start Saturday against the Buckeyes.
