ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Darth Vader made it to the Crisler Center. So did an army of Storm Troopers. No sign of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia or Han Solo, though.
The Dark Side invaded Michigan’s home court Saturday afternoon, and Michigan’s basketball team wore the appropriate navy blue uniforms for Saturday’s event — and not just as an answer to a comment by Illinois center Maverick Morgan that described Michigan as a “white collar” program.
Prior to Michigan’s Big Ten Conference home game against Illinois, Michigan hosted “Star Wars” day. And the Dark Side was out in full force about an hour prior to tipoff against the Illini.
