Neil Farrell, a 3-star defensive tackle from Murphy High School (Mobile, Ala.), released his top 6 on Twitter Thursday evening and Michigan was the only non-southern school to make the cut.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound defensive lineman, who can be seen wearing a Michigan hoodie on his Twitter profile, received an offer from the Wolverines on February 25. Farrell wasn’t the only prospect to include Michigan on his shortlist Thursday. Harbaugh and his staff also received good news from a talented 4-star defensive tackle.
Farrell is rated as the No. 40 defensive tackle prospect for the Class of 2017 and the No. 28 overall prospect in the state of Alabama.
