Aubrey Solomon, a 5-star defensive tackle prospect from Leesburg, Ga., and the No. 31 prospect in the 2017 class according to the 247Sports composite, released his final four teams Saturday night on his Twitter account. Michigan was a finalist, along with USC, Alabama and Georgia.

Jim Harbaugh has 27 commits for the Wolverines, but a commitment from Solomon would immediately double Michigan’s number of 5-star recruits. Donovan Peoples-Jones is currently the only 5-star prospect in the group.
Per 247Sports, Solomon is the second-rated defensive tackle prospect in the country and the third-best overall recruit out of Georgia.
It might be a hard get for Harbaugh, as three of the top five recruits out of Georgia have already committed to the Bulldogs, including safeties Richard LeCounte III and Deangelo Gibbs. Adding Solomon would give Georgia coach Kirby Smart an extremely strong, locally grown defensive core to build his program around in the future.
