Taylor, considered the country’s 13th-best tight end in the 2018 class by 247 Sports, has many other suitors, including some of Michigan’s biggest foes. Taylor has more than a dozen offers including ones from Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
According to 247, the 6-foot-6 Taylor plans to visit Ohio State, Penn State and Notre Dame on three separate Saturdays this fall. A Springfield, Ohio native, Taylor is tabbed as the fifth-best 2018 recruit in his class, and he picked up an offer from his in-state Buckeyes in March.
Taylor originally committed to Michigan in April and the Wolverines had a top 10 2018 class so far with him in it. Without him, Michigan’s 2018 class currently stands at three members.
