Michigan’s 2017 recruiting class is back down to 16.
Florida FB Chase Lasater announced Monday on Twitter that he’s decommitted from the Wolverines. He says Michigan remains a top school on his list and called the decision “heartbreaking.”

Lasater, a 3-star recruit from Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Fla., is the No. 2 fullback in the country but the No. 1,353 player overall.
He also holds offers from Charlotte and Troy, per 247Sports.
Michigan had the No. 8 recruiting class in the nation before losing Lasater. It has seven 4-star prospects committed.
