These two teams are familiar with each other, having played twice in Big Ten play. In both games in early January, the Irish took a 2-1 victory in Ann Arbor.
The Irish also went on to win the Big Ten Tournament, defeating Ohio State to do it after the Buckeyes knocked off the Wolverines in the semifinals.
The winner of the contest will take on the winner of the No. 1 seed Buckeyes and No. 3 seed Minnesota-Duluth in the championship at Xcel on April 7.
The Maize n’ Blue are led by Cooper Marody with 46 points on 14 goals and 32 assists, but in the goals category it’s Tony Calderone with 23 goals leading the way. The team also has Jake Slaker with 14 goals and Dexter Dancs with 10.

For the Irish, they average 2.9 goals per game while allowing 2.2. They trail in shots, though, averaging 31.5 per game to 35.8 from opponents.
They just make their shots count with four double-digit scorers and a balanced attack. Leading the way with 42 points on 11 goals and a team-high 31 assists is Jake Evans, while the leading goal-scorer is Andrew Oglevie and Cal Burke with 13 apiece. Jordan Gross also has 10 goals.
