This is about as close as Michigan State is getting to the Final Four this season.
In the week leading up to the Final Four, MSNBC mistakenly included Michigan State’s logo instead of Michigan’s in a graphic previewing the national semifinal games Saturday in San Antonio. Pictures of the gaffe appeared a few places on the internet this week, including in a Reddit post on Saturday.

Fear not, Michigan fans, there will be plenty of maize and blue in San Antonio this weekend. The Wolverines are in their second Final Four in the last six seasons.
The Spartans, of course, are not playing Saturday night. Tom Izzo’s team was bounced by 11th-seeded Syracuse in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament on March 18.
The Wolverines, who were 2-0 against Michigan State this season, face Loyola-Chicago at 6:09 p.m. ET in the Alamodome. Michigan is going for its 14th consecutive win.
