ESPN is releasing an E:60 documentary Sunday that will feature Draymond Green’s life story. It will look at how he became arguably the NBA’s best defensive player as well as the glue for the Golden State Warriors.
The former Michigan State All-American is known for his antics such as trash talking other players, and he’s not afraid to take on anyone. Even a top-15 all-time scorer in Paul Pierce was on the other end of the trash talk.
In the documentary, Pierce was caught hyping Clippers teammate Blake Griffin saying, “He can’t guard you, BG. He’s too little.” And that’s where Green took over the conversation and reminded Pierce in his final season that he wasn’t worthy of a farewell tour like Kobe Bryant’s in 2016.

Pierce was awfully quiet after the exchange with Green. Moral of the story: Whether it’s Paul Pierce or Paul from down the street, don’t dish it if you can’t take it.
The documentary will air at 9 a.m. ET Sunday on ESPN.
