Another member of Michigan State’s secondary is departing from the program.
Mark Meyers, a fifth-year senior safety, has been granted his request to transfer to Miami-Ohio for his final season of eligibility, according to The Detroit News’ Matt Charboneau.

This news comes directly on the heels of the announcement that senior cornerback Jermaine Edmondson had also been granted a release from the football team.
Meyers appeared in every game for the Spartans during his redshirt freshman and sophomore seasons, but he missed six games last season while serving a suspension after a Sept. 6 arrest for operating while impaired.
