Michigan State may have lost a commitment on Tuesday night, but a Georgia recruit picked the Spartans on Wednesday.
Christian Jackson, a 3-star defensive back for Lassiter High School, has committed to Michigan State.
“I would like to announce that I’ve officially committed to Michigan State University, I’d like to thank all the schools that gave me an opportunity to play football on the next level. I’d also like to thank GOD, my family, and Coach Dickerson. God bless #GOGREEN,” Jackson shared on Twitter.

Jackson, who’s 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, is part of the 2018 recruiting class. He is the fourth member of the Spartans’ class now that 4-star Joseph Scates is no longer committed.
Jackson tweeted a Spartans offer on Feb. 8. He’s ranked by 247 Sports composite as Georgia’s No. 80 prospect for 2018. He’s also the nation’s No. 75 cornerback.
