In 1995, Muhsin Muhammad became a breakout star for Michigan State. The wide receiver had a big season which propelled him into the second round of the NFL Draft in 1996.
Muhammad went on to be a standout receiver in the NFL, recording more than 11,000 receiving yards, catching 62 touchdowns and making two Pro Bowls.
More than two decades after his run in East Lansing, his son, Muhsin Muhammad III, is emerging as one of the top wide receivers in the recruiting class of 2020. And there’s a chance he could follow in dad’s footsteps to East Lansing.
Muhammad III is making a visit to Michigan State this weekend, he announced on Twitter.

The 6-foot, 170-pound wideout who plays high school football in Charlotte already has interest from a handful of schools and both Virginia Tech and Wake Forest have offered him early in his recruiting process. Could a Michigan State offer soon follow?
