Following a week where Michigan State quarterback Tyler O’Conner put up 23 points on the Northwestern Wildcats in the second half of a 54-40 loss, the senior might not even play.
Graham Couch of the Lansing State Journal reported earlier Saturday that there’s a possibility O’Conner will not dress against Maryland due to a foot injury, and if O’Conner does dress, he won’t play in the contest.
Haven't confirmed but hearing MSU QB Tyler O'Connor might dress but won't play tonight due to a foot injury suffered vs. Northwestern. (1/2)

In O’Conner’s stead, it’s unsure whether or not redshirt freshman Brian Lewerke will make his second straight start at quarterback. However, O’Conner is out with the other quarterbacks during pregame warm ups, according to the Detroit Free Press. Whether or not O’Conner will actually play tonight remains to be seen.

With O’Conner’s injury, the Spartans find themselves in a quarterback dilemma as their third string quarterback, Damion Terry, is also nursing a hand injury. The defense has suffered a fair share of injuries as well, as linebacker Byron Bullough and defensive end Evan Jones will not play tonight, along with defensive backs Grayson Miller and Drake Martinez.
OK MSU dress list is minus: Byron Bullough, Drake Martinez, Even Jones, Grayson Miler, Jon Reschke and David Beedle
