Michigan State volleyball won’t be traveling to Florida this weekend. All three of the Spartans’ matchups in Gainesville, Fla., for the Active Ankle Challenge, were canceled because of Hurricane Irma, the team announced Friday.

Earlier in the week, Michigan State still planned to travel to play one match against the host, No. 2 Florida, Friday at 5 p.m. Now that won’t happen.
The No. 21 Spartans will be back in action next weekend in the Notre Dame Shamrock Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
