Michigan State softball player Lea Foerster had 3 hits and 2 RBI in the Spartans’ 7-0 win against top-seeded Michigan in the Big Ten Softball Tournament on Friday night. But her most impressive feat came in the postgame interview.
Speaking with the Big Ten Network after the win, Foerster somehow kept her focus on answering questions despite her teammates’ best attempts to distract the senior outfielder. Michigan State’s other players shot Foerster with water guns, toweled her off and made a bunch of other commotion during her 90-second interview.

The interview concluded with Foerster wearing a jacket and holding a plethora of water guns in her glove.
Foerster’s interview was not the only odd moment on Friday at the Big Ten Softball Tournament. There was also a helicopter used to dry the field during a “chopper delay” in Madison, Wisc.
