A few days after a scary jet-ski accident, Michigan State football signee Lashawn Paulino-Bell appears to be making great progress in his recovery.
Miami signee Mike Harley, one of Paulino-Bell’s high school teammates at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., tweeted a video Thursday of the future Spartan walking with assistance.

Paulino-Bell was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami on Sunday after suffering the injury in the Bahamas.
His status will be updated daily on his GoFundMe page, which was created by his aunt, Suzie Jean, to help the family pay for medical expenses.
Paulino-Bell was rated as a 3-star defensive end who committed to Michigan State last June. If all goes well in his recovery, he is expected to play in East Lansing in the fall.
