Michigan State will host Notre Dame in the 2017 Big Ten-ACC Challenge, ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reported Thursday.

The date and time of the game has not been released. Traditionally, the Big Ten-ACC Challenge has taken place during the final week of November and/or the first week of December. The game will likely be held in late November.
Michigan State lost 78-69 in the 2016 Big Ten-ACC Challenge, dropping its overall record in the Challenge to 7-10. Notre Dame is 3-1 all-time in the Challenge.
The game will follow Michigan State’s participation in the PK80 Phil Knight Invitational in Portland, Ore. The tournament will finish on Nov. 26.
Michigan State and Notre Dame each reached the second round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament. The Spartans return rising sophomore star Miles Bridges, while the Irish will get leading scorer Bonzie Colson back for his senior season.
Michigan State is 35-60 all-time against Notre Dame. However, the meeting will mark the Irish’s first visit to the Breslin Center.
